Mermaid Quay Cardiff Harbour Festival (23 - 25 August)

Description Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the end of the summer at this annual Festival of all that is nautical. Three days of family fun will include water-based activities, demonstrations, music and entertainment on the Bay edge. Climb aboard the tall ship visiting the Harbour, or join in the children’s workshops including the famous Best Dressed Pirate’s competition. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at WMC (3 July - 30 August)

Fasten your seatbelts … Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is coming to Cardiff and to Wales Millennium Centre. With a cast of over 70 (including 10 dogs) it has sensational sets, stunning special effects and is bursting with magical music.
